ARTIST BIO

I am a Wisconsin native, currently living in Madison, Wisconsin. In the summer of 2018, I discovered abstract fluid art, also known as acrylic pouring or liquid art, and fell in love with this medium. Quite frankly, it’s become and obsession. 

When I am creating, I feel like I am on the threshold of a magical zone, a dimension where artists of all walks exist, a place of fantastical imagination and possibilities where boundaries fall away; a feeling that dreams are tangible, almost within my grasp – an optimistic burst of enthusiasm for what can be. 

I love that I can plan the technique I am going to use, chose the colors, and mix the paint to the proper consistency, but in the end the fluid nature of this style prevails over all of the controls I try to institute, and the design becomes the design, as one color flows over the other.
